Family Health Promotion Leads Community Clean-Up Initiative to Promote Public Health in Dzaleka Refugee Camp

Family Health Promotion (FHP) continues to demonstrate its commitment to improving the well-being of the Dzaleka Refugee Camp community through meaningful community engagement activities. On 27 April 2026, FHP team members came together to conduct a community clean-up exercise focused on public spaces and waste dumping areas within the camp.

The initiative aimed to promote a cleaner and healthier environment while helping to prevent the spread of communicable diseases and reduce health risks associated with poor sanitation. By removing waste and cleaning public areas, the team contributed to creating safer surroundings for community members.

This activity reflects the dedication and sacrifice of FHP volunteers, who devoted their time and energy despite their personal and family responsibilities. Their commitment to serving the community highlights the organization’s mission of fostering healthier lives through collective action and public health awareness

Family Health Promotion extends its sincere appreciation to all team members who participated in the clean-up campaign. Their efforts demonstrate the power of community-driven initiatives in creating positive and lasting change.

FHP also expresses its gratitude to the Family Health Coordination team for supporting the activity by providing soap to all participants. This contribution helped promote hygiene practices and encouraged active participation throughout the event.

As Family Health Promotion continues to serve the Dzaleka community, the organization remains committed to advancing public health, environmental protection, and community empowerment. FHP looks forward to expanding its impact through future initiatives that promote health, dignity, and well-being for all.
