On 20 january 2026, the Family Health Promotion (FHP) team carried out a claen-up and environmental hygiene activity at Dzaleka Hospital.
The team worked together to collect and remove scattered waste, pick up trash, and slash overgrown grass around the hospital surroundings. The activity aimed to improve cleanliness, reduce potential breeding sites for disease-carrying insects, and create a safer and healthier environment for patients, staff and visitors.
Through this practical action, Family Health Promotion demonstrated the importance of community involvement in maintaining clean public spaces and preventing environmental health risks.
